Step out of the everyday with your family and getaway glamping in Warwickshire. It’s far away from what you might expect and way more exclusive than you can imagine. Surround yourselves with the beautiful tranquillity of nature and enjoy an abundance of exciting adventures together at the wonderful Coplow Woodland Retreat in Warwickshire.
Glamping is easy with us because we make it our business to pander to your every need and cover every eventuality so you can truly relax and take it all in your stride. It’s a luxurious world away from basic camping, you don’t need to bring blow up beds and sleeping bags, or pots and pans and camping stoves. Everything is provided to make your stay super comfy and all the facilities will make you feel right at home. Even for a novice, a family break like this is as uncomplicated as it can be and with all your creature comforts provided you’ll have an unforgettable time away. - The only thing you’re likely to forget is the everyday world that you left behind.
Woodland Glamping is a perfect blend of everything you and your children will love. The joyful simplicity of sleeping out in a forest clearing, under a canopy of stars in a cosy cabin, is just the beginning of the adventure. From your idyllic base you have the freedom to explore and discover a different world every day, one that’s full of natural life and peaceful reflection. A place where young minds can use their imagination and creativity to invent games to play, interacting with the environment while they discover and see new things. The great outdoors is full of surprises and kids love making dens, or going on treasure hunts, bird & bug spotting or learning about leaf and tree identification using our activity sheets.

Glamping gives families a chance to come together in a new and different environment where you can enjoy quality time without all the distractions of mobile phones and computer games. It gives you the space to explore new things with each other and see a different side to life. Even simple tasks like collecting wood for the fire pit are fun, especially with the promise of warming marshmallow skewers or making s’mores cookies that night. No day is the same and there are plenty of new things to find on your doorstep, you choose which path you want to take and there are plenty of choices and stunning places to end up.
Some of our families park their car up for the entirety of their Warwickshire stay with us, whilst others mix it up a bit with day trips to the fabulous attractions and beauty spots nearby. From your picturesque Warwickshire location you can plan your stay around the age of your children and venture out on foot or drive a short distance to discover any number of exciting things to do in Warwickshire; enjoy a picnic by the river, or a hearty bite in one of the quaint local Warwickshire pubs, both of which are only a gentle walk away. There’s kayaking, a nature reserve, butterfly park, lavender fields and always lots of local events or places nearby to visit in Warwick or Stratford-Upon-Avon…even a castle.
With all the fresh air and activity packed days you’ll all sleep soundly snuggled up in your cosy warm beds…even your four-legged friend if you bring one. We have a range of excellent lovingly crafted accommodation to suit you family needs. Our fully equipped glamping cabins are perfect for families with two children (and your pet dog) but if you have young teenagers we can provide a tent pitch with our other accommodation. THINGS TO CONSIDER BRINGING WITH YOU
SENSIBLE CLOTHING
Obviously it depends on the time of year but our British weather can be changeable so it’s wise to bring layers even in the summer
A lightweight hooded wet-proof jacket, or coat is advisable for everyone, just in case.
Nights can become chilly even when sitting around the fire, so a snuggly warm jumper will mean you can all stay up a little longer outside at night.
SENSIBLE SHOES
You’re likely to be doing a lot of walking, so good hiking or walking boots or comfortable trainers are essential.
Sliders or flit flops are useful to slip into when you’re back at the cabin.
If it’s likely to be very wet then pop in a pair of wellies.
HATS
A hat is a useful accessory, to provide a bit of shade from the sun or to keep heads dry in a shower.
MEDICAL
If anyone is on prescribed medication don’t forget to pack it.
A first aid kit is provided in each cabin.
Anyone with allergies or hay fever should bring any treatment necessary. Again this will depend on the pollen count or time of year.
SUN LOTION
Pack a UV sun block lotion and after-sun cream.
Even under the trees in the summer the suns rays can be quite intense, especially for children spending all day outside.
A FAMILY RUCK SACK
You’ll need a sensible shoulder bag or ruck sack to carry all your essentials for a day trip.
WATER BOTTLES / FLASKS
For your hikes it’s a good idea to make sure you have sealable water bottles or a flask to keep your coffee or tea hot.
FUN THINGS TO BRING
The family’s favourite board game - or a new board game to try out!
A card game
A magnifying glass - for spotting bugs and small insects
Binoculars - for viewing birds and wildlife, or simply to enjoy the beautiful views, or make the stars even bigger (A telescope if you have one) star charts are also a good idea.
Water pistols, favourite toys and of course teddy.
Bikes (with helmets)
PET DOGS
If you have a pet dog then bring along all their essentials and a few treats, it’s their holiday too! Their favourite blanket helps them to feel at home. For any advice please just contact us.
